Another practice employed at most of the restaurants in Georgetown was vegan options of fresh vegan exclusive restaurants. The new generation really cares about natural ingredients as well as healthy and animal friendly food. Restaurants, even ones with meat, should look to these farm to table vegan restaurants to apply their freshness philosophy. All natural ingredients are becoming more and more valued by society.

As we were walking the Streets of Georgetown Tommy said "parking meters are so outdated the should make an app where you can pay for your parking from your phone." Little did we know that there was a sign 10 feet down the road that had the app for you to pay for your meter on the phone. This is a great idea because everything in life is shifting to smartphone apps which is a technology that all businesses should incorporate.
Georgetown Cupcake is a famous cupcake company but none of our group members actually knew why. We went up to a couple that was waiting in the long line for the cupcakes. We asked them what makes these cupcakes so special that you are willing to wait in this long line outside in the rain for. The lady said that she actually worked at Georgetown Cupcake while she was in college and told us that the popularity was due to a TV show that was about the cupcake shop. The cupcakes are not anything amazing but the TV show makes them relevant. This business model of advertising and profiting off of making a TV show about your business could be applied to a variety of business especially since young people are obsessed with TV, especially TV shows about food. If people are invested in the show they will buy your product.
We encountered this species while on our adventure around Georgetown and we took note of the dogs willingness and joy to go up to every stranger it encountered. We modeled our approach to talking with strangers after this dogs bravery and we were inspired by his never give up attitude to meet new people.

We learned that Washington was famous for a lot of foods while talking to people across town, many of course came here for the Cupcakes and baked goods, While others attended one of the many Steak houses with ample people on the waitlist. Additionally falafel was a treat many had heard about as well. Finally the hundreds of spins on pizza were on a few peoples bucket lists.
As a whole Washingtonians were pretty welcoming as long as you approached them in a welcoming manner. People also seemed used to answering questions we proposed this was due to the amount of tourists in the area. We saw that people were either extremely rushed or were thoroughly enjoying their time not much in between. We saw that many of the people were following the latest fads and trends so they were well away of social trends. Also as a whole people seemed to be open minded as few people/ businesses seemed open to different input.
